*I say "rustic", but some are just rustic by virtue of the ceiling beams, or presence of woven items.  Some give me an organic or slightly bohemian feeling.  Not especially my style, but I think they are good examples of theirs.

Serene and pared-down.  Like their use of larger, but fewer, objects for more impact.  Love the primtive cupboard.

A green velvet sectional in a small, light-washed living room corner, with thriving plants, is such a luxuriant look.

This has such a cozy lodge feeling below.  I would not want to be constantly climbing stairs, but there's something about having a cute 'balcony overlook' in your own house!

Really like the crisp, casual mood, the simplicity of items like the iron floor lamp--

The presence of rattan here, for me, is a pleasant counterpoint to the formality of the camel back sofa..

Love the chunky, weathered coffee table.  Room could be in any warm climate, Portugal, Greece...

Primitive exerts a timeless appeal...

Another green couch, in a room with a smoky, loft-like appeal...

I like the way they mixed both warm and cooler neutrals in this spacious great room in the next two images below, each enhancing the other.

It would be nice to find at least a few more rustic rooms that had color on the walls.  They more often go for a wash of color in their accessories, and more often, for texture, as opposed to color...

Re: A FEW RUSTIC* LIVING ROOMS

These are my kind of rooms. Especially the third picture. I could easily live there.

They sure are rustic, not one room has a TV in it!

Re: A FEW RUSTIC* LIVING ROOMS

Thank you for these charming picures @Oznell

My favorite is the sumptuous green velvet couch in the second picture.

I'm puzzled by the tiny window in the first picture; hopefully, there are others in the room! Smiley Very Happy

I like the downstairs in the third picture. I think the balcony is odd, especially as it isn't level with any of the windows!

That tall white cabinet, my Granny had one like it and the shelf in the middle could slide out further and that is where she made her biscuits, pie crust, cookies and all types of breads.  She would store all types of flour, sugar and baking needs with her rolling pen and baking pans.  Sure brings some happy and delicious memories back to me.😋

Re: A FEW RUSTIC* LIVING ROOMS

I honestly like all of these rooms. They all are warm and welcoming and look so comfortable to sit in.

The 3rd room is my favorite but the cupboard in the 1st room is my favorite piece of furniture shown in the pictures.

They are rustic, but they feel homey to me.

Re: A FEW RUSTIC* LIVING ROOMS

I absolutely adore the lodge feel of the balcony family room, that is so similar to the feeling we have in our gathering room....minus the 100 gallon fish tank and the cats! But I know the cats would be walking on those railings and my heart would be pumping from that as well as the step climbing.
I would be introducing seasonal colors to the spacious great room, which I also like very much. I do white walls exclusively through out our home, almost always have.  I love the vase of branches in that last photo, will keep an eye out for something similar.

Thank you @Oznell, I so appreciate all the work you put into these posts, makes me aware of my own style and also opens my eyes to other ideas.

Re: A FEW RUSTIC* LIVING ROOMS

I really like the 6th one down. Some rustic, some vintage, even some traditional. Take away the modern art on the fireplace and add a bit of country/ farmhouse/ cottage for a tad more coziness and warmth and ...I'll take it!   Really, I think my decor is a real mix of every thing that I like.  It's a little tricky at times but "mixing it up" has turned out well for me and hubby. We both like it and that in itself is a miracle!!
