I'm sorry I can't attribute all of them since I collected them at different times. This cabin below though, I do know that it is the real-life home of a reporter in Wyoming:
Her house is a mixture of rustic Western, and vintage French chic...
Love the view you get through the doorway, of her wispy, glowing tree.
One Kings Lane is always a trove of pretty Christmas ideas. Here they show designer Alessandra Branca's festive dining room:
It's in her vibrant Chicago townhouse, and features lots of her trademark red. Yes to those roses, oh my!
Love her place settings:
How do you like her fun, kooky elephant vases?
Delicate antique Swedish candelabra dress her vintage mantle. Those dining chairs look like they are upholstered in black or charcoal velvet, yum.
By contrast, a French country Christmas:
And this cozy room featured by One Kings Lane, has to be one of my perennial favorites...
Most of the rest of the images, if not all of them, were collected by interior designer Laurel Bern in different years on her blog. Laurel has declared that, although Jewish, she loves Christmas-- and showcases it every year at her site. She finds the most evocative images, I think.
This is from the home of cosmetic heiress and mogul, Aerin Lauder. Really like that rich blue with the green garland--
I like wreaths hung over bookshelves, and over mirrors too. Love the abundant fruit.
I think she found this pretty mantel at Southern Living. I adore white flowers at Christmas--
No idea where this came from. The unusual placement in front of the rising steps (which I love) and other elements look very romantic and old-world European...
This she found in "Midwest Living", in a home which is a converted polo barn in suburban Chicago! This particular room is the old tack room. Very comfy 'horsey' feeling, complete with silver trophy, boots, and loyal pup...
Twinkly lights always bring the magic holiday feeling, even to this venerable architecture...
This she found at a site that was all written in an unfamiliar language-- I'm going to guess maybe Czech or some other eastern European blog. Who would have thought to wrap old sheet music and pages around candles for Christmas. So charming, with the delicacy of white flowers again...
And the same setting featured this look also, with the sweet reclining deer, flowers and books... Edited to add, oops-- they look to be berries, not flowers!
That suggests a question-- what are your favorite "decorative" animals and plants during the holidays?
Me, as I said, I like white flowers, and my absolute Christmas favorites are waxy white or creamy magnolia blossoms. Pine branches and holly, of course. Animals would be deer, and all manner of little birds-- doves, owls, cardinals.
What are yours, if any?

Seeing these beautiful rooms got me wondering what the theme at the White House is this season. As for the question about flowers at Christmas, I prefer fruits and greens instead of flowers. I'm not a bird lover so deer like those Valerie offers are my favorite animals.

I'll take this one including the Lab.
This one second. Love that tree.

A lot to like here. I especially like all Bern's blue and white, the glorious wreaths (especially that large one on the bookcase), those amazing plaid chairs and the white deer. The snow covered cottage exterior, the built in drawers and cupboards, the mouse hiding under the hat rack and living room chairs are also very appealing.

Pretty decor pieces, but every inch of wall space, table space, shelf space, every inch of everything is covered with stuff. Makes rooms look way too busy and cluttered. I love decor but not overwhelming decor. Wouldn't have the time or energy to dust those rooms.

-So much fun to look at everything--but way too busy for my taste--would pick and choose some of the pieces for my space---

.....who lives in the home of the first set of pictures, you described them as the real-life home of a reporter whos decorating style is rustic Western, and vintage French chic.
That's exactly as I'd describe my decorating style. I've never heard of anyone else who described that style as such. It kinda sounds like a strange mix, but I love it.
I always say I fancy myself living in a rustic french chateau with western accents, Ralph Lauren-esque. haha love it!
