[Solar Is My Name]

Our children made us a 2022 wall calendar with their pictures (that were taken during this 2021 year). It fits right in the spot in the kitchen where we will be able to see it every day.

May 2022 be healthy and happy for us, everyone!

For the past number of years the calender we get is the Susan Branch wall calender. It goes in the kitchen and we put down dates of appt and days off  and of course family and friends birthdays.

Hubby usually gives me his from "Navigators".   If I didn't get that, I'd also go for animals, or old film, or a vintage black-and-white photography one like this:

That's the one I usually get too, but this year I got another one titled "She Who Sews" because that describes me.  Hope I don't miss Susan as the year goes on ha ha.

Strangely, we got at least six wall calendars in the mail this year.  We haven't used a wall calendar in ages so they all went in the recycling bin.  Such a waste of paper.

I always buy an Edward Gorey wall calendar. The last couple years I've also enjoyed a calendar featuring various bookstores.

I always hang a Thomas Kinkade calendar above the desk in  my kitchen.
