You guys are good.  I tried coloring a couple pictures with colored pencils and it reminded me I have carpal tunnel.

@lolakimono, back in the 60's my mother would let the kids in her day care color on those long rolls.  I hadn't seen one of those since that time.

I just looked at my things on this the other day, I think I'll have to get on the stick!!!

I'm a traditionalist.  I've always used old-school Crayola crayons and kiddie coloring books - though I am constantly on a hunt for good ones.  I like big, simple graphics that allow me to create plaid elephants or patterned wall papers - whatever strikes my fancy. I don't like books that have every detail already drawn out for me.  There are some excellent downloadable coloring pages available online, as well.

I bought an electric crayon sharpener, and it makes all the difference. It creates the identical sharpened edge that you'd see on a fresh new crayon.

It's upstairs in my closet where DH is sleeping right now, so I can't get to it and don't remember the brand name, but there are many available on Amazon.
