You can never be too young or old to give. In the town I live in there are always adults and children who need help. The holidays are when they need it most. This year money is needed for heating their homes. That is a first. Sadly

My understanding is that this is something that a parent has placed this to get the kids to evaluate their "needs" and making room for any new toys that might come into the house for the holidays.
