Re: When to Decorate for Easter?

@AuntG   Thank you....so sweet.

I still decorate quite a bit but it is more of a year round outlay of energy now. There are times I miss the seasonal decorating but life moves on, doesn't it? Smiley Wink

Re: When to Decorate for Easter?

I wait until the Saturday before Easter but I leave it out all summer. I put eggs away but leave out bunnies. The rest is just pretty florals that are good for spring/summer. I sort of go dark between when I put snowmen/winter away and Easter to emphasize the Lenten season     and really enjoy bringing the pretty things back out for Easter.

Re: When to Decorate for Easter?

I have a few winter things out so when I put those things away,spring/Easter comes out.   I have some very nice felted animals that I just love and I want them out as long as possible.

@Mom2Dogs - What felted animals do you have and where did you get them?

Re: When to Decorate for Easter?

@Sakuya ...I will pull them out of storage and take a group photo.  I ordered from ETSY years ago. The artist no longer makes them..between covid and I think her husband was ill she retired.

I recall that she told me that at one time she had been commmissioned to design for a large department store.

@Mom2Dogs - Oh wow. I look forward to seeing your picture! I find felted animals to be quite adorable. They can be so intricate. I would like to learn how to do it.

Re: When to Decorate for Easter?

@Sakuya   @Marsha2003    Below is a photo of my loved felted animals...the two bunnies and the yellow chick are the ones I am referring to.

The largest bunny with the silver egg is 10" tall the other bunny and the yellow chick smaller.   I have had these for years. I bought one each year and then went back to order another around covid and she was gone.

Her husband was ill, supplies were hard to source and I also think she was moving.   I really miss her ETSY site.

Any way I hope you enjoy the photo.IMG_1162.jpeg
