What does your Christmas tree look like?

[ Edited ]

Everyone, I would love to see how you  have decorated your Christmas tree.  If you are willing to share, please post!  Below is mine.  Note the light up packages...this year, my family is doing a "show and tell" Christmas.  No pressure to figure out what everyone wants..just buy yourself something, wrap it up and bring it to the festivities. When you open your gift, you can show everyone and tell them why it's the perfect present!  You'll only spend what you can afford, get exactly what you want, and everyone gets to be surprised on what everyone opens.  And no standing in line making returns after the holiday.  I can't tell you how much pressure is lifted from trying to get everyone the perfect gift.

Here's a somewhat blurry shot of mine. It's on a rotating stand so pictures tend to come out a bit blurry. The shiny metal stuff behind the tree are a couple of Mylar heat blankets the get crumpled up. They do a nice job of reflecting the lights.1125161458l.jpg

Love the photos!!! We don't get our Christmas tree yet as we get a real one from the tree farm. Once we decorate it I will do my best to post a photo.

20161201_080318.jpgthis is the tree in our living room . It was the TSV from BL recently. all that is on here is picks from Hobby Lobby and vintage pictures of past generations of my family (and one of us still here), all in gold coordinating frames. This is only a 5 foot tree, and I'm really liking this small size in the living room, takes up so much less space, but still a tree in there.

I am having trouble with getting a good shot of the other tree in the family room. Will post when I can get a decent pic.

Oh, and all our pets, past and present have a small gold framed picture on the tree as well. Most of the pics I did in black and white to keep the vintage look.

This is the only tree that I have finished so far.  I'm still deciding for sure what I want to do under the tree.  For now, some santa's are resting there.

@lucymo  Beautiful!  I see you put the gold ball picks to good use, they look great. Smiley Happy  How tall is your tree?  I can see it is tall.
