Our little town was not busy at all! We didn't plan on going out.but a household emergency gave us no choice. Didn't have to wait in line. Stores were quite--very. Traffic

what traffic? Perhaps it was the weather or many peeps went to the big city. Who knew?

I went out this morning to the car dealer for a minor issue.  The dashboard message was my key fob had a low battery.  Took both fobs in and they changed both batteries for me immediately at no charge!  Thank you Lexus in Whippany NJ.  

Then I got gas and went to ShopRite for a few week-end specials.  Got everything I wanted and store wasn't busy.  Traffic was average.

I wasn't out, but I'm wondering if the lack of shoppers is due to the black friday that has been going on for weeks now???

I think many people shop online. The stores used to be the go to but in today's world, it has all changed.

I shop for groceries in person because I'm a label reader.  

As for other retail establishments, I might go into stores as a reconnaissance mission, but then I go home and order my stuff using a rebate site, usually Top Cash Back, and have them deliver it.   

I pretty much have all I need, so I don't buy much "new" stuff. 

For holiday gifts, my family usually exchanges gift cards to their favorite stores so they can take advantage of the sales after Christmas.

We love bargains and we love "the thrill of the hunt", especially when it's someone else's money on that gift card.  lol

I went to an exercise class at the gym but the instructor was a no show so I did 20 minutes on the stationary bike. Kohls is next door so I wandered around there for a bit. Bought a bra and a shirt. Wasn't really crowded.

We got a late start on Thursday, we were heading to Red Bay, AL to get a few things done to the camper. Since it was late we ended up stopping at a rest stop for the night of 5 hours sleep and discovered our coffeemaker had died after a week's use this spring. So we ended up in Wally World in TN to replace it. No crowds there at all, it was 3pm so not sure what was happening but even the traffic was light.
