Just a note that one of my favorite easy peasy decorating items from Valerie Parr Hill is back in stock again.   I know several people had mentioned it older posts and it seems to be back on her website.  It's called a scarf but it really works wondefully as a 4' x 14" table runner and is a terrific base under a lot of decorations.  It's plush enough that it can pass for a snowy base and the silver snowflake sequins just make if very pretty

I saw that and thought it was pretty. I think it would be too big to put around my 18" little tree, otherwise I would get it. I guess I could cut it. But it might be too fluffy for my "Charlie Brown Tree"

@SactoSue I own this and agree it was a wonderful find.

I put it on a hall table with a few of Valerie's trees and it looks so pretty!

It is one of the nicest things I've gotten from Valerie. 

I put it on the table with  faux tea lights so maybe I'll use this "scarf" to put in front of it.

I got this piece a couple of years ago and use it as a snow base for my Christmas Village.  So pretty!

Last year I had it out with some Silver bottle brush trees and a couple of my Ino Schaller santas in a silvery and red colors and it was so serene and pretty.

It makes a great skirt for a smaller tree.

I bought mine the first time she offered it, and I don't even like snow flakes.  Lol.  I use it on the dining room table throughout December until mid February.  It is a great base for  candles, hurricanes, small trees. It looks like new each year I get it out. Valerie has had some great decor ideas.
