Yes The Q’s system works like a charm ! Also i I use USPS free pick up service and just set the box on the porch or in the mailbox and no need to run to the post office.

With the price of gas these days 🥴

AND the value of My Time running here and there, I feel I am not wasting either this way.

I actually worry more about breaking the lid of the battery compartment or losing it,  as it has the battery contacts on it.  If that lid doesn't stay closed for any reason, no set  of batteries will work.

I noticed also how weak the battery compartment lids are.  They are under constant tension and are made of a weak plastic. If they fail, it will be a major ordeal to figure out how to make the batteries continue to make contact to light up the candle.

I've had this happen over the years with other flameless candles, and ended up having to trash them.  I have seen more secure battery compartment lids so I know they have existed for a long time now. Kinda disappointed in this feature.

Re: Val Pumpkins TSV

[ Edited ]

As for the metal "pan" that is glued inside the top of each resin pumpkin...the metal pan that the magnetic candle attaches to...one of my metal pans was actually detached completely from the resin pumpkin.  It will be easily glued back into place.  Just FYI.

The brown pumpkin (largest of Thanksgiving set) smells strongly of paint and it is very sticky (in a few places) to the touch. I'm giving it a couple of days outside of the plastic bag to see if it improves.

Looks nice overall, but the quality is disappointing for sure.

@Deb213  Sorry you had to return yours. Mine did not have that particular issue but I understand your frustration. If you can't open it you can't use it! I still have one more TSV yet to arrive.

Yes, exactly! The lighting feature was the most important thing to me. So to have an unlit pumpkin sitting there after I spent over $100 was ridiculous.

And you struck a chord when talking about having to glue a piece into yours to fix it. I had ordered the fox and baby item that Valerie sells. I had a heck of a time getting the lantern attached to the ring in its mouth. In the process, I mangled the ring and can no longer use it. In addition, the glass pieces in the lantern fell inside the lantern so I had to open the thing up and repair that. The lantern was not designed to be opened. Upon looking inside, I could see why the glass panes fell in. The pieces of metal that hold them in were not even bent upright. The glass had just been placed in there with nothing to hold them in place.

I also ordered the 4th of July globes this year and one of the timers doesn't work. I have the original globes that she sold many years ago that still work just fine. This is the kind of poor workmanship that I have seen more often than not with Val's more recent items, (last couple of years). I pull out some of my old things and they perform like champs. I am done paying for defective or damaged items and then having to "fix" things myself. Very disappointing as I always enjoyed her shows, especially the Fall shows.

How do you do returns and exchanges ?

Are you using QEasy Returns or starting a return online through Order Status?

I use the return label that QVC sends with the item. In this case, it is going back via UPS Ground so who knows how long this refund will take? I have never tried QEasy Returns. But at this point, it doesn't really matter as I will not be purchasing much and hopefully, there will be nothing to be returned! I try not to return much anyway.

@SHOPR  Wow my pumpkins came all dry and zero odor!  My battery covers are also secure...normal to get on and off so no issues there at all.  Also the pan inside with magnet for candle to attach to also secure.

I am always hoping when I order these mass produced items I get a "good" one LOL!  and for as many as they make there has got to be some that come less then....and if you get a set like that can only hope it's in stock for exchange (I know Thanksgiving is not).

You’re Correct sending it that way is unbelievably SLOW !! 😩

So if You decide you want to come back there is no easier way to return than using Q Easy Returns !!!

You send an email to qvceasyreturns.com

And in subject line put Return, Exchange, Defective, Damaged etc etc

In Body Item # , Order # , Name of item, How you want to be credited or Size and Color You Want for Exchange

Your credit or exchange will show either next day or within 4-7 days (depending on how busy they are) under your Order Status.

I’ve used this program since they first started it. I was one of the select customers they tested the program on.

OR You can use the Return option under your Order Status to Start A RETURN/EXCHANGE

You can get a QR code that will be scanned at the post office which automatically generates your return ASAP. No more waiting 7-8 weeks for a refund or exchange.

You’ll get an email and or text as soon as it’s in the system. And updates when it was delivered.

@Deb213 You can also go to your orders and pick the one you want to return.  Hit the "start return" and it will walk you through it.  If you want to print the return label or use the QR code and take it to the post office. Once the post office or UPS has it you will get an email from Q so you can track the return.
