Re: To Long Time QVC Shoppers Re: Free Shipping

@mollymaggie  $5.50 seems like a high shipping cost for two potholders. I've noticed $5.50 appears to be what QVC charges on a lot of items. I wish QVC would charge a little less when we buy the same item in multiples. But as my late Dad used to say, "If wishes were fishes, we'd all cast nets".

@SweetSydney I waited for it all June during Q's anniversary month but nope, never had it. They used to have it on Founder's Day.

@Pearlee  Several members here were kind enough to point out why there won't be free shipping this year.  I've decided I'll pay the shipping on the items I truly want. But honestly, after 46+ years of marriage, I don't "need" any more Christmas items.

Sorry I don't have the link, but I read an article that another QVC shopper posted which gave detailed sales information about QVC and HSN. The article painted a very profitable picture for QVC because of all the people now staying at home. They especially excelled in the food department.

Even a slashed in half shipping day would get me to order. I purposely will not buy from CIJ this year unless they do something like that.
