You guys are killing me....I live in the south, and my family gives me a hard time if I decorated before the middle of September. It feels odd to be swimming in 90-degree heat and looking pumpkins as I float by.

It takes me two weeks to pull everything down from the attic and pack all my summer decor up and put my fall stuff up. I am so ready!  Seeing all the fall decor makes me want to start.

@Mazie G   LOL!   I wait until September, and it takes me weeks also, putting away, and getting things out, then deciding how to create my displays.

@Susan Louise   My DH once said to me, "why can't we just enjoy what we have," and I said I do, but I want more, lol.  I am slowing down a lot on buying decor, have plenty, but since I rotate, I am able to use everything, just not every year.

tt's pretty, but I'm nowhere near ready to part with summer.  Maybe early October I'll think about fall.

Re: Started Fall decorating...

I'm going to start also. Just a little here and there until it's all out, then October into Halloween. I told hubby I'm going to start christmas decor in Nov. just a little here and there until it's all out. There's no down time between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year. There's usually a week or so before December. This year there isn't so just a little at first so I'm not stressed out .

  A little decorating at a time is best for me also.

Yesterday I removed white arrangements in the living room and put out burgundy mums with burgundy and green Coleus leaves.

  I received Valerie’s 4’ white birch tree and it’s in a corner behind a crystal and gold large vase with the leaves.

   I’m not ready for the pumpkins yet, they come out in September.

@Susan Louise

Love your Fall decor but here it's 90+ and we never see Fall weather☹️.

One of the things I hate most living in FL no change of seasons.

Maybe end of September I'll get out Fall.  Haven't gotten Fall decor out in 2 years...just can't get into it anymore.  You've given me incentive...thanks!

I have nothing on top of my fridge -- might "borrow" your idea!

@susanlouise

Your pictures are so pretty and watching these shows today is making me want to go ahead and decorate. After all, my sunflowers are blooming in the garden and some of my pumpkins are turning orange!
