@EastCoastGal@cueveeseer@LTT1@DrakesMomma@Santorini    Accepting misspelled words, bad grammar , uncivilized behavior and less than mediocrity on so many levels are all part of the "Dumbing Down of America".

I agree with you.  Spelling does matter, especially on items that we are paying money for.  Many items are purchased as gifts and I would be embarrassed to give someone a gift with a misprint/spelling error on it.  I wouldn't want that in my own home either.

This reminds me of some of the candles Harry Slatkin sold last year.  I believe they were either a one time only or TSV.  Several sets had the word candle, spelled as "candl."  I couldn't believe my eyes.  They presented the candles like that for the ENTIRE DAY and they never once mentioned the misprint.  I couldn't believe that more people weren't complaining about it, although some on fb did mention it.  Those candles should NEVER have been sold that way, but they were.

Of course people started mentioning it once they received their candles at home and noticed the misprint.  How on earth could that get through their production process??  I'm sure everyone knew it that day and just kept selling anyway.  It is completely unacceptable and it just shows greed.  He made a ton of money off of an inferior product.  If he was truly interested in quality as he claims, he would have taken the loss and pulled those candles from being sold.  Of course, he didn't and neither did QVC.
