M94527 Cottage Farms Holiday -Wax - Dip Amaryllis Bulb
Can't believe that everyone involved with this product, from its inception, through the manufacturing process, and finally to presentation tonight, missed the "Gold Bulb"
message. . . . "Seasons Grettings"
That's embarrassing Cottage Farms and QVC.

@JoePE ... Were both words spelled incorrectly?

I just looked at the video and the bulbs shown on air had it spelled correctly.
I think it's only the photo image online that has it spelled incorrectly, so that's likely an editing error.
Unless someone is seeing them present different bulbs on air? There are three of each color in the video I watched - all with correct spelling.

@Venezia ... You're right. I just watched the video too... but l just looked up how to spell Seasons Greetings and it's as l thought "Season's Greetings" with an apostrophe in Season's. The company made two errors!

I think it's a big deal - I don't think you have to be labeled as "those wo (sic) think they are perfect!!" to expect a two-word phrase that they bothered to print on this item to be spelled correctly. I did see the video where they had some where "Grettings" was corrected - but how would anyone be confident about purchasing, since the picture shows clearly that some were wrong. If they corrected them, which they did at least for a few that they showed on TV, why wouldn't they take or retake a photo of one that was right? No one caught it - and since those words were really the whole point of that item being unique, that's pretty careless. If I was new to QVC and saw that, I'd assume all their stuff was cheap and junky. If they did catch it, and chose not to correct what was being shown in the picture, that's also careless. Spelling does count, for anyone who takes pride in their work product.

I am pretty much fed up with the current method of communication being "skim it!".
Spelling DOES matter... my text messsges to DD do not sink in! [this is my personal example]
Yes I'd rather she keep channels open even at the expense of misunderstanding or not getting my entire message!
But the example you shared is a great one of the effects of our current style and what finally happens when people "just skim"!

Spelling DOES count. Jeeze. Some people just want to dumb-down America.
