I can't tell from the picture if they are real or faux. I feel I can convince myself either way; however, the stamen is now making me think faux. Also, I don't think petunias have a stamen that sticks out like that. Do they even have one? I believe I have misidentified the flower.

@Sakuya I am also very curious to see the name given to this flower.  They look similar to a petunia but I've never seen petunias with stamens like that.  Rose of Sharon or other hibiscus?  But I think those are usually much larger than these appear.  Anyway, at least now we know they are faux!  ha ha

I will be checking out this show for sure, but I don't think I will be buying anything.  The PE faux wicker baskets (3 choices) look nice so far, from the images.  I can definitely see the advantage of using them outdoors vs wicker.  The natural material plant baskets never last but these probably will.  Just my thoughts, because they are not something I need.

I hope everyone enjoys the show.

@Sakuya ya know it is kind of pricey .   I expected  at least 3 EP.   I went ahead and did purchase the white hydrangea I have the scalloped urn  from her last show and I feel they will look nice in it.     and now wondering if I want to cancel .  Had membership credits and used those , but still ...

I really, really enjoyed the show today! It has been awhile since I've seen a show in any category where I was interested in so many items. I was especially glad to see the lattice ginger jars—I have admired them in the styling photos for several items Janine has brought in the past. The hydrangeas were also lovely.

For any who didn't see the show, I'm sorry you missed out if you liked the purple and pink flowers in the photo earlier in this thread since they were a One Time Only Value. But in case you didn't catch it, Janine is calling them morning glories.

Janine said that the pink and purple flowers were Morning Glories. I was tempted by they sold out before I decided to order.

I loved everything !   Which surprised me as I didn't think I would from the pics.     I ordered the French basket and white hydrangea to put together.   Both white ginger jars Lionel them  together and finally the ferns .  Love ferns and never have good luck with them.  These look as real as real can be !

what did you purchase ?

she will be on for CIJ !   Usually she doesn't do a hoilday show till late October or November.

I hope she brings back that set of 3 glass tree cloches she had last year. I missed out but would love to have the set this year. I messaged her on facebook, will see what she says.

I watched but didn't buy anything. I liked the "speed of the show". They didn't linger on items forever!

Re: Simply Stunning - April 28

My jaw dropped when they said the flowers were morning glories. There must be different varieties because they did not look like morning glories to me. Nice colors. I am used to blue vine morning glories.

I thought the fireplace mantel was striking with the pink hydrangea stems, white hydrangea stems, and green ferns.

I recorded the show and will rewatch it.
