I have the older version of these flashlights.  They are the first thing I reach for when the power goes out.

For adults - gift card to Panera or Starbucks

For women -  lip gloss, nail polish, printed socks

For men - pocket knife, bottle cap opener, 

For  kids - deck of cards, matchbox cars, mini flashlights, that large Hershey Kiss

I think these are cute this year.  I bought a few of the reindeer for myself and gifts.  From Bath and Body Works- $5.50 each.

I do not like to do stockings for adults. When my boys were younger I always did stockings for them. DH loves doing a stocking for me so I half heartedly  do one for him.
