Too busy fixing the shipping.

I don’t like the pastel ornaments on the trees. I prefer traditional holiday colors in reds, golds, greens.

I think they display and sell every Christmas decoration they offer from September to mid October. Then they move on and focus on gifty goods and gifty fashion while sprinkling in some clearance. Less focus on decorating and more on gift giving. Perhaps all the decor detracts from what they are trying to sell...just my humble opinion...

I know that, but their decorations are not what they used to be. I have been watching for 25 years and believe me that their holiday decor is sparse this year!

Totally agree, @shill718 . Your OP stated that the sets at the Q were not like in the past. I agree. They used to be glorious, showcasing (for example) Valerie, Slatkin and Mr. Christmas items that were also for sale. This year all I see are trees and wreaths. Whether you agree with decorating this early or not, it is not what it used to be at all.

I think it is a reflection of the minimalist movement in home decor and people's lives they are trying to mimic.
It seems that when there are holiday decor shows, the sets are crammed with product, so heavily decorated for selling said decor, but for fashion and other shows, the sets are much less decorated. I'm sure they want the viewer's focus to be on the products selling at the time, not the background decor. Thus sets selling Christmas things, lots of decor, sets selling 'regular' merchandise, just a touch of holiday, so the focus is on the products for sale at that moment.

Yes @shill718 sparse. Maybe they are trying to only decorate with Q items to minimize feedback about wanting items on set to be available.

Shill, I think you are referring to the “old” Lisa Robertson days. I remember she used to have Christmas decorating shows on Fridays.
That grand staircase was decorated to the max.
Don’t really know if it was to Lisa’s credit, or if it was just QVC’s style back then.
Who knows, maybe they are just trying to save money, or like someone else posted, maybe it’s just the minimalistic decorating trend.
OR maybe they will surprise us after Thanksgiving, and Deck the Halls!![]()

@traveler wrote:I love the color of the balls on the trees. The pink, blues, gold. Refreshing.
I think these trees are gorgeous and would love to find similar ornaments.
