Anyone shop Holiday decor from these stores? My niece has her entire house in Pottery Barn from the sofa to wall art. Wonder if they do holiday too.
How about Grandin Rd? Hope I got the name right. Their catalog seemed pricey.

I have a lot of decor from Pottery Barn, oneof my favorite stores and a lot of it is their Christmas Decor, very pretty, good quality, but very expensive. I tend to only purchase things that aren't easily available in other stores. I have received The Grandin Road catalog, beautiful things as well, but very expensive. I bet the quality is good though....With my Pottery Barn purchases, they last and look great year after year.....

No PB in our area, and I'm just not interested enough to drive the 70 miles to get to the nearest one.
Grandin Road and Front Gate have beautiful things. Expensive, yes, but I've never purchased, just a 'looker' to get ideas. Do either of these have actual stores?

We have two Pottery Barn stores close to us. I bought 4 lamps from them recently so I've been in a few times.
I'm not in the market for more holiday things, but their holiday selection is nice. They have a plaid/color blocked throw pillow that I really liked, but didn't buy.

@traveler I bought a lot from both stores last year...
PB last year...Luminara Birch pillar candles, 2 large buffalo check reindeer, alpine toile dinnerware and matching mugs...
At Grandin Road I got the Finley Hill wreath with 2 sets of the matching candle rings and a few owls to add to our collection.
It was a combo of not needing anymore decor and finding nothing new that peaked my interest which lead to me not buying from either store this year.
However, I am so glad I got all the decor/dinnerware when I did last year because most of what I got is not available anymore. The dinnerware and mugs we have been using all yr round because it doesn't scream holiday/winter. To us, it's more of a rustic/log cabin design which makes us happy. All the other pieces I see myself using for years...like the Finley Hill wreath and candle rings. They are up again in our kitchen for the 2nd yr in a row...just a lovely set.
I didn't mind paying the extra money for better quality and at least I was able to get 15-20% off with free S&H when I ordered everything, so not full retail. The closest PB is almost 70 miles away and the closest GR outlet store is about 1,000 miles away ![]()

I shop from Grandin Rd. about once a year. They just had a 25% off and free s/h, so I got a few things. Love their catalog.

@Mominohio I'm in the same boat as you, closest PB store is at the outlet mall about 2 hrs from me. Not a full selection, hot or miss and outlet purchases are final sale/no returns.
They don't allow reviews on their website. I looked at PB upholstered dining chairs, some are over $500. I talked with my Amish furniture builder, his top of the line chair, built for a lifetime is $319

Many years ago I was in a PB store in a mall far far away (LOL), and I remember thinking things were nice and pretty, but overpriced for the same 'made in China' quality you could get elsewhere.
And in my opinion, the Amish made furniture in our area just can't be beat. I'd consider that way before a mass produced chair.

Like others, I buy from both, but only when I get the 20% off/free shipping deal. I bought some pillow covers from PB this year as well as the new Luminara candles with gold/silver leaves embedded in the wax. Last year, I bought the Finley Hill wreath and the year before that, the Finley Hill candle rings from Grandin Road. I love that collection.
