I am looking for outdoor Christmas holiday decorating ideas. Does anyone know a website with inspiring photos? My searches keep taking me to places that sell things that don't interest me, like inflatables.  I want to see the front of beautifully decorated homes.

I used up my brilliant ideas the past two years, and have come up with very little for this year.  I have a front porch and a front fence I like to decorate.

Pinterest did show me lots of project ideas, that is, specific items, but there are so many photos yet to go through. I'm hoping to find some larger area photos. I'm sure they are there. I will keep looking.

I do not decorate indoors. In the past, I got ideas from catalogues and Christmas TV movies. I'm always taking snapshots of my TV screen. So a little from one house and a little from another, and I create my masterpiece.  

My front yard was exceptional this summer with flowers. It was a treat to approach my house. I think looking at something pretty and festive makes people feel good. There are lots of walkers passing my house every day.  Here's hoping I can create something that encourages a pause and smile.

Let your imagination go!  We are outside decorationg for the first time.  So far we have purchased, a large lighted santa hat from here, really cute. A deer and sleigh from amazon, tons of lights with gutter clips and snowman faces for the outside garage lights.  They are really cute,

I also search Pinterest for ideas.  Also useful are various websites I've found searching images after I enter search for outdoor Christmas decor, decorating or ideas.  Very useful ideas

In addition to Pinterest,  I would look at Houzz.  Search for "outdoor Christmas ideas."  It may ask you to sign up, but you don't have to do that.

@JGalt  I'm with you ~ no inflatables. I like to keep it simple personally. A large lantern for sure decorated with greens and red berries. I like a LOT of lights. My deck railing is always strung with lights in November and kept up through March. I love greenery, ribbon, berries, wreaths.

We're all different but for me, a little goes a long way. Like many others, I often drive around to look at outdoor decorations. It's a good way to get ideas. While there are many that are a 'wow', the ones that tend to most stick in my mind, in a good way, are thost that are simple and classic... Those that are overdone or that feature what are to me garish, tacky, too commercial looking and kiddie decor are non-starters. Still, with decorating, we all get to decide for ourselves what we like and what we don't and the look we want our home to project.
