New Year's Eve nothing special and I'd rather not cook, so probably something ordered from a restaurant to take home and enjoy.
New Year's Day, will be smoked spareribs cooked low and slow with kraut. Mashed potatoes and a green salad of some kind.

My oldest DD is moving to Washington DC to start her career on New Year's Eve and she has requested that for her last meal at home on December 30 we have a traditional Sunday roast like we had while visting London last New Year's Eve. So we are having a rolled ribeye roast, Yoikshire pudding, roasted potatoes and a green veg.

I would be happy with two dogs. Menu might have been the wrong word to use.

New Year's Eve for me has always been a fancy dinner at a restaurant, hotel or club, with dancing afterwards. Usually the perfect opportunity to wear all my sequins!
This year we are ordering from a local restaurant, and the menu features soup, salad, salmon or steak, and dessert, all with a French flair.
Yes, I will still wear something sparkling and glitzy in my own dining room!
(New Year's Day we may cook a ham.)
P.S. Two dogs, six cats, and parakeets!

Thank you for the P.S. and you made me smile that you are dressing up.

New Year's Eve will be a surprise takeout order because I prep a lot for New Year's Day the night before.
There will be finger food as well.
I have to be ready for the midnight hour when everything happens at once. At 11:45 pm I open the doors to let the past year out. I turn on outside light to welcome the first footer. At midnight I quickly eat 13 grapes. Then the toast to the New year begins with the pot banging . The first footer usually arrive by 12:15 with the gifts for the year.
New Year's Day
Hoppin John ( rice, blackeyed peas, tomatoes onions, peppers and bacon and spices)
Greens (probably mustard)
Cornbread ( no sugar)
Pork (mauybe pork chops since we do not have many people)
I may make the stuffed pork chops,
Carrots
The next day I have a simple prep for the meal. We used to watch parades and or football. Then we go walk the labrynth where we have our hopes and fears written on a piece of paper and when we get to the center we light the paper to send our hopes and fears to God. Then we travel back out of the labrynth.
The afternoon is spent hanging out with the critters.
