I was looking in a closet and there were toys in their boxes. I had a hard time getting in for a chest blocked the way. Any way I thought of giving them away to children. Don't have any small ones. They are brand new from HSN long ago. Didn't have cable to see the Q.  Since I don't celebrate Christmas--no church either. Firemen were in front of Walmart last week and I think no more. Son called but not at home when I called back.Don't live near the burned out people. What do you think?

@halfpint1  I take a sack of toys to my firestation, there are bins outside the door, maybe yours does also.

@halfpint1 That is nice of you to be so thoughtful and want to donate. I hope some

kids get to enjoy the gifts you want to donate. You can also look online in your

area for local collections. Our bank is now collecting for Toys for Tots since our

Walmart has now stopped.

@Krimpette Our Walmart used to collect for Toys for Tots and now suddenly last

week they have stopped. Other businesses are stepping up to help out. They

gave some lame excuse about stopping the solicitating.

Agree with the Toys for Tots suggestion. Call their local coordinator and ask if a couple of volunteers can come to help you get them out of hiding! Coordinator phone numbers are listed on the collection box.

Also try Salvation Army if you live in the suburbs. Donations stay local.
