I follow the FB page of the floral designer we hired for our daughter's wedding. That guys is B-U-S-Y!  He's been posting pics and video from all of his jobs this week, some private homes and a big restaurant nearby.  All spectacular.

Yes, I have noticed a few lights going up in the neighborhood.  Some are on, but most are not.  They are just starting to decorate, but it means that the holidays are here!

 

We are starting a little bit earlier than usual this year because we are going to be extremely busy the week/weekend of Thanksgiving and won't have time to do it then.  This Friday is the day the trees and outdoor lights will go up.  I feel bad about my turkeys having to be put away earlier, but it is what it is. 

 

Either way, having lights to brighten the darkness is always a great thing.  I look forward to it every year!

@Susan Louise   Oh I love your pretty wreath!  I am vintage Christmas all the way, like 1950's vintage.  Can never duplicate the Christmases of my childhood, but I try.
