Luminara vs Matchless by Luminara

What is the difference between these candles?

Re: Luminara vs Matchless by Luminara

@Sakuya  I honestly don't know if there is a quality difference, but the Matchless is less expensive than the regular Luminara. I would trust it to work like Luminara, but I don't have experience with the Matchless. I have the Matchless Pillar with Holiday Sweater Snowman (H432863)  in my wish list waiting for free ship.

It might be like the less expensive version of Waterford is Marquis.

@PA Mom-mom That's what I was thinking too but I wonder what is making it less expensive than the regular Luminara.

Re: Luminara vs Matchless by Luminara

@Sakuya The first time I saw a Matchless candle presented was on HSN, the vendor stated they were made by Luminara, were exclusive to HSN, they had a 3D wick & the remote had lots of lighting options. I have several Matchless, I really like all the features, they're well made & the price is right. I have Luminara too & I prefer the Matchless wick but my all time favorite is the black wick on the old school Candle Impressions

Re: Luminara vs Matchless by Luminara

I saw a presentation for Matchless. It looked like a regular Luminara wick and not 3D. The candle was in a removable Christmas cozi character with feet. They do seem less expensive so I was wondering why. I think I remember hearing the patent or whatever on the tech is expired so that's why we see so many other brands with the moving flame now. ?
