Looking Forward to CIJ Previews

Now that the April decorating shows are over, it seems like a long wait until CIJ. Since there were sneak peeks early last year, I looked back in my pictures to see when they occurred.

I have pictures of David's sneak peek preview for CIJ on June 12. I have Valerie pictures of a harvest sneak peek on June 13. I believe Valerie had some Christmas on the same day as well, but I only took pics of the harvest.

Hopefully we will see sneak peeks sooner than later.

@Sakuya your enthusiasm makes me smile. Because of finances i cant buy holiday items this year but will be watching along with you. Is fun for me to see the trends and the colors etc...positivity well needed.

Thank you!

I enjoy CIJ too!

My wish list includes:

-Bethlehem Lights hanging baskets made with faux florals and battery lights.

-Battery operated outdoor lights.

-Christmas table linens.

@Sakuya  You are voicing my inner thoughts. My family just laughs and shrugs at me, but I was thinking about this very thing today. I've been shopping for Christmas cards and ornaments for my grandchildren. But that started much earlier.

@nascarfan I'd love to see more lighted hanging baskets from BL. I have some lighted evergreen from several years ago, and I just love them! Maybe poinsettias?

Looking forward to CIJ too.  I'll go to the Christmas decor I have and bring out a few pieces during CIJ.  Some are tucked behind a couch or table so not too hard to pull them out ha.

@LizzieInSRQ - Watching CIJ is fun to do even if not buying. It is comforting and enjoyable to watch and partake in the decorating ideas. Perhaps getting an idea of how you can create a similar look with items you already have. Smiley Happy

@nascarfan - Table linens is a lovely idea. There definitely is a gap in that aspect. I have always thought a show of just table linens would be nice but maybe there are not enough of us out there to watch. I would imagine it being several different tables set with all different looks - casual family dinner, ladies luncheon, cocktail party, children's tables, ornament exchange party, tree-trimming party, movie night. Not just tables, but perhaps setting up a buffet. Include dinnerware. An hour of holiday entertaining that isn't food.

@PA Mom-mom - A fellow Christmas card enthusiast! I spend a lot of time each year searching for the perfect card to send to friends and loved ones. I am very picky and want the card to visually portray the enthusiasm of the season and the message to infuse the warmth. Sometimes I can't find both in one card, but that is always the goal.

@rockygems123 - I like that you are planning to pull out a few decorations for CIJ. How cozy that will be! I have been perusing cookie recipes and thinking about trying a new recipe or two in July for practice before making en masse in December.

Design Imports has a lot of seasonal items including table linens and they go on sale often. Even their original price point I believe is fair. Smiley Happy

I have my eye on these kitchen towels
