Is anyone buying from Harry?

Hi Everyone -

Harry has a bunch of new things on the site. There are a lot of his new 4 wicks and some great harvest scents in sets of 2 of the same scent. That seemed to be a customer request.

Is anyone buying?

I'm on the fence. I made 2 purchases from him since he's been back and I'm not all that excited about them. I am hoping that the new fall scents will be better, but I'm just not sure.

I bought one of his spring scents -- Orchard Apples (came with a spring melon scent too). That candle smelled like anything BUT apple. I was very disappointed. I feel like his candles are a bit too complex in nature with this new line. Sometimes I just want a candle that smells like apples. I don't need all the scents in between.

Thoughts about this visit?

After my first purchase a year ago, I find that his candles/wall plug-ins are not as fragrant as other brands.

Raising my hand!! Went online early this morning and ordered both candle pedestals and two different 4 wick candle sets. Love his stuff.

I buy a lot of candles and have bought Slatkin in the past. But I mostly buy based on scent and you can't smell these before you buy. These candles are expensive if you add in shipping not to mention the fact that candles are fragile and could be broken in shipment. I have access to many candles on sale so I will not be buying the Slatkin candles.

I used to.

But, I find that his candles and the room fragrances are just not as good and scent a room as they once did. I am also over all the figurals. I have given a few away.

I just bought the Apple Orchard set in the new Townhouse candles.

Like a lot of you, I've been disappointed in his recent offerings. This one, mostly due to the pressed glass containers (and a hope that how bad could he mess up apple scents?) took me into the buying zone.

If these don't live up to their promise, then I will finally be able to be realistic about what I'd get from his line.

The thought just occured to me,and this is really not nice,BUT, do you think,that he thinks we here at QVC are are dumb and will just buy anything of his because they used to be good?

His wife's candles are supper nice and fragrant. I really like most all of her things and I buy them from Amazon on auto delivery.

His products are no longer made in the US. They are now made in Viet Nam.

I buy his candles because they don't have that cloying, nauseating scent like most others that I've tried. Plus, I really, really like them. I liked them years ago and I still like them today. Dumb as that may sound.

It seems I have become addicted to his candle pedestals. I love them! Got the pinecone today as I missed out on it last year. His candles have so far been hit and miss for me. Currently I am burning his nectarine one. I will say it has a low to medium throw as compared to a lemon one I burned previously that had zero throw. Never smelled a darn thing! The only other one I've burned was the Toasted Vanilla Cupcake and it was nice. As I said, hit and miss.
