@jennie hunt   Once it's safe to travel, I would pick France.  Loved it and want to go back but my sister and I will probably try Spain, Portugal or England before we go back to somewhere that we've already seen.  How about Greece....a friend of mine was there for 2 weeks and said it was unbelievably gorgeous.

I've heard it takes all day to fly from one state to another here sometimes. I don't know if it's a good time to travel. In some cases not many planes are flying and there are a lot of layovers. In addition to covid that is. Why don't you try going on the travel forum here. They may be able to help. Hope that helps.

Anyone travelling in a germ filled metallic tube is simply taking a huge risk.   Perhaps by Fall it will be safe to travel again until then stay home.With the more contagious form of th virus now in the US I would hope the Govt institutes stay at home orders until enough people are sufficiently vacinated.

I have been to the Maldives, and had a lovely time; however, I wouldn't go back. Simply because it's a lot of traveling for what it's worth (if that makes sense). I've been to other destinations with the same travel time that I preferred (but that's just me).

I've been to Mexico numerous times, the resort destinations aren't my cup of tea. I have a friend that is from Central Mexico and I've traveled with her to visit family, I enjoyed getting that experience!
