I have a pink tree with cupcake, lollipops and cotton candy ornaments along with toy and fairy ornaments. I went elegant for awhile with lots of floral swags but I missed the childlike feeling of Christmas and do this instead now.
I also have a large lollipop bouquet I use as a tree topper.

I have a seven foot tree which has many different ornaments, old and new. There is much to look at and I think my choices of what I put on the tree are lovely, meaningful and perfect!!!! The assortment looks festive.
I also have a five foot tree which I have decorated with various wildlife ornaments, owls, birds, deer, penguins, raccoons, ornaments related to nature. I also put bright red picks throughout the branches which pop out at you!
No matter how anyone decorates, whether a few or many ornaments, fancy or simple, it is what gives you happiness and joy and the Christmas spirit.

The days of decorating a tree are long gone; however, I have 7 of these that I bought from a men's store that closed:

This year since I have a kitty who has never had a Christmas tree I wanted to be safe so I put up a lot of metal, stuffed bears from Vermont Teddy Bear Company and only a few breakables. So far he hasn't bothered either tree. I have lots of ornaments that are very old and some newer ones that I put up sometimes but this year I wanted to be safe because I didn't know how Oliver and Char would react.

Through the years when my children were young, I had decorated the tree with many of their handmade ornaments along with Disney characters, etc.
When they became adults, I decided to decorate the tree in different ways every few years. I had a beautiful flocked Hallmark tree that I couldn't put up this year because my two cats couldn't stop licking the flocking. So, I bought a green Balsam tree, a little narrower than those big full bottom trees and decorated it in red, white and gold with snowflakes. Here is a picture of it lit.

@J Town Girl I'm a hodgepodge lady. There are ornaments that I made nearly 60 years ago, alongside ornaments my children made when they were in Sunday School. We have ornaments from nearly every place we visited. There is jewelry from my favorite cousin who passed away. There are childrens' wedding favors and package ornaments from newborn grandchildren. When we first went to housekeeping, we just had white doves, red apples, and red bows. They are the first things that go on our tree each year.

A small tree with many ornaments. Some from my childhood, some my sons made and others that my family gave me. My dear friends have added to my collection. PS my tree is full.

Our tree is always decorated with ornaments that bring back cherished memories. We usually get a couple of new ones each year. That is the one in the living room. The tree I put up in the dining room is a flocked tree done in peacock ornaments and colors.
