At 11:30PM on December 20th I placed an order. I waited to place the order late because it was not a Christmas gift and I was in no hurry to get it. It was being shipped from California and I live in Pennsylvania.

I received a notice yesterday stating to expect delivery December 28. That was just fine with me.

Just happened to go outside to throw out trash and there was my package. It is snowing like crazy and before the snow there had been hail all morning. And I still got the package.

Thank you UPS. Job well done.

I hope whatever it was wasn't damaged.

Just curious, how do you know where it ships from?

I'm amazed at how well both UPS, Amazon, and USPS have performed this holiday season.  I placed a non-gift QVC order on the 21st which will be delivered tomorrow.  I have no complaint whatsoever.

No, not damaged. It was a pair of shoes, so the shoe box was quite sturdy.

I received a notice that the package was on it's way. I was given the tracking number and it stated that it left Ontario, California.

I am shocked the package was in transit from CA to Louisville, KY to Philadelphia and then Horsham, PA. The package was never in one place for longer than 2 hours, except when it was in transit from CA to KY and KY to Philadelphia. It was loaded onto the truck for delivery at 4:02 AM.

With all the planes being grounded because of the weather. I am impressed the UPS didn't seem to skip a beat.

Order a gift on Dec 16th and was guaranteed to be here by the 24th because it was their holiday shipping.
Well they didn't ship it till dec20th.
I'm so mad tracking says it won't be here till the 28th.
Thanks for ruining Christmas.

Congratulations!!!  Our first annual "QVC ruined our Christmas" post.  That's what happens when you wait until the last minute.

I had excellent experiences with shipping this year, too, especially all of the last minute Amazon purchases.  All were delivered exactly as expected.  UPS was awesome, too.  I wish there was a way to give UPS a pat on the back similar to the way you can give compliments to Amazon drivers.  Of course, I realize that there are tons of other team members besides the drivers that make the delivery happen.  I'd love to give all of them a message of thanks and job-well-done!

I was pleased with shipping this year. The week of Christmas I received items 1 to 2 days before I was exoecting them.
