After Jill pumped up this final show of her Holiday series.....I looked at items on air and was NOT impressed---this was the show she said would be new and different, these were "the items she was so excited about in the show"?????
The Holiday glasses she's done on other shows, but with a "new pattern" so QVC calls it "new" ..JR hearts reminded me of the heart ornaments Valerie showed this year only more ornate....a DB throw (really Jill??? we've seen this quite a few times already), more Lenox ornaments ....Philosophy which makes an appearance every single weekend and througout the week too, and her gemstone soaps that always make an appearance in her shows.....ZZZZZZ Sorry Jill......
I know this was a gift show with a few decorating items thrown in....but as the saying goes, nothing "floated my boat"... It seems as though it's another disappointing show...Jill puts herself out there, but doesn't deliver.....What does everyone else think?.....did something catch your eye??? any purchases????

QVCs "gift" shows are a joke. It's just the same old stuff they have all year but because it's shown this time of year, they call it a gift. You'd think with all of their high paid buyers, they could come up with something customers would be proud to give.

Nothing big, but I love the soaps - and I did like the Joan Rivers heart eggs. I already have a dozen of Joan's original shaped eggs, so these looked new and fresh to me.
I don't watch Valerie so I wouldn't know she had something in a similar vein. But, to be truthful, I don't watch enough of any particular host or vendor to know what is old or what is new. Doesn't matter to me though.

I actually watched most of the the show, though I don't usually make a point to watch her Christmas shows. The only thing that I slightly considered buying was the set of 3 soaps. I am sure they are great, but I am not going to pay that much for bars of soap.
I was disappointed in everything else. Nothing that new and definately not exciting or anything I would want to give. Especially that Happy Box. I was kind of like, "Huh?" It was just some random "happy" stuff thrown in a box and overpriced at that. Don't mean to offend anyone who bought it. I just thought it was a bit stupid.

You would think with QVC's buying power they could at least come up with something unique and different to gift......instead of just more snoozefests....(I can only imagine what must go on in a QVC Buyer's Meeting---"well this was a good seller last year, and the year before, and the year before that, and before that....so let's bring it back." And "oh this is a popular item in local stores, let's bring it to QVC we can mark up the price and make money on the shipping who cares if people comparison shop, why our QVC viewers are like family, they won't ever think of looking elsewhere"....)

QVC: Same old stuff EVERY+DAY... Come on! You have the ability to show so much of merchandise that we never see!!!!

I literally gasped when she claimed she came up with the idea for the Joan Rivers heart ornaments. That picture she showed of her and Joan looked like it was about 30 years old. That was probably the first and last time she was ever invited to one of Joan's parties. Her hubris will be her undoing. When Dennis Basso showed up it felt like those obnoxious kids, Violet Beauregarde and Augustus Gloop, running amok in Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. I wanted to pour bleach in my ears.

I totally agree, Spurt! Same old boring things. There are so many items that they "could" offer, but Q's choices are very limited and nothing new. Very disappointed.

I watched the show and thought to myself I must be hard to buy for because I wouldn't really care for any of those items.

What jumped out at me was Jill talking about already working on items for Christmas 2017. Why?....when most of the items she worked on for this season were, apparently, never shown or cancelled.
I'm so tired of seeing things that have been shown for the past 8 to 10 years.
