I thought the same would you really hand someone a glass a gift? What am I going to do with one glass?

I've seen those glasses at the Hallmark Stores and they aren't my style either.....
And if I wanted to give someone a "Happy Box" I think I would make one myself and put together something special for the recipient ---ivolving their interests or hobbies, and a card with a nice note etc.....and I could do it for under $30 too.....

@RazorSharp. LoL ! best laugh I had all day!!! And I agree.

@RazorSharp wrote:How about that HAPPY BOX? Here's a refrigerator magnet and some air freshners, now you can toss out your Zoloft.
I had to watch the video to see exactly what a "Happy Box" was.......
Cannot imagine spending that amount of money on paper and cardboard, oh ! And air freshners and a key fob..... Really ???

I agree that so many of these items are "been there, saw that" before, over and over again! I've seen those soap rocks at Hallmark and other stores near me. The Dennis Basso throws are very overpriced and just not my style, I don't like anything with the look of fur, especially a throw. And a throw you have to dry clean? No thanks!
The Happy Box was really over the top...like others said, a cardboard box with air freshners, a key fob, some silly dish and note cards...for $30? It seemed kind of silly and childish to me and nothing unique about it. I can't imagine anyone would even think you spent that much on it! The wine glasses I do like but can't justify spending that much...what if you broke it? I certainly wouldn't want to have one wine glass all decorated like that and have all my guests have plain wine glasses...and if you bought enough so everyone at your party could have one, it would easily be over $100!
I think QVC needs to really shake it up and start investing in some unique ideas for gifts that we haven't seen before!

I don't normally watch Jill's shows but thought how bad can it be. My heart skipped a few beats when she brought out the 'Happy Box'. Well, I gave up after that because I knew nothing would or could top that one. Where is Jill and QVC going with the kooky items she is oohing and awing over anyway?

@RazorSharp I am ROTFL at your post. Thanks for that because it made watching "Holidays with Jill Bauer" worth the pain and anguish.

I watched the show for a good 20 minutes; I lasted that long!
The Happy Box reminded of something my daughter won in 2nd grade, but it had color pencils and a small coloring tablet thrown in. Jill said she was giving them to her nieces the same age as my daughter now (early-mid 20's)! I can just imagine what my daughter would think if she got that now...Mom needs help! lol
I've seen those wine glasses sell at TJMaxx for $10 each, but I'd rather gift or receive a nice set of 4 glasses of those Marquis by Waterford from TJM for $20.
Soap rocks. Hanging my head in shame because I bought them when she first presented them 3-4 yrs ago. They were a bit cheaper then. The ones I bought look like a turquoise rock and other gemstones; they were very pretty. But...the soap melted quickly, a good thing, because I couldn't stand the perfumey smell of them. I should have set them out for the look instead.
I don't buy ornaments but they were pretty. When DB came on, I tuned out and off like I always do when he's on.
Everything was a multiple repeat from this year and past years.
I wish QVC would look into their warehouses, there are tons of things never, ever shown.
