You're right.  Coming up with an idea and suggesting a new idea are two totally different things.  My bad.

Re: HOLIDAYS WITH JILL FINALE!!

So it sounds like YET another resounding holiday gift show failure from our good buddies at QVC and their, uh, creative director and all around one woman show... Jillsy... WHY oh WHY am I not surprised. Personally, I opted to skip this seeming debacle, just as I've skipped all the others... Sounds like I did the right thing...

Re: HOLIDAYS WITH JILL FINALE!!

I just couldn't bring myself to watch her last show and looked at the items presented and like I predicted it was a snooze fest. I see those Lolita glasses at home goods marked down a lot. There is a card store near me that sells them also. I would be embarrassed to give that wine glass to a friend without getting one for her husband as well and he would never drink wine from that glass due to the designs.

The happy box box was filled with $5 worth of useless trinkets.

Re: HOLIDAYS WITH JILL FINALE!!

What the heck happened this year. This whole series was disappointing. Jill says she is working on 2017, but I am confused. Did the manufacturers not deliver for 2016? I saw very little new. Mostly it looked like they emptied an old warehouse.

Re: HOLIDAYS WITH JILL FINALE!!

Well, at least it was finally the FINALE!

Caught a couple of the shows earlier this fall - yep, pretty boring, same ol'same ol', never made it thru the first 15 minutes.

Well now ladies, they have about 8 months till they start over.... grrreaaattttttt! 😉

@CAMOGIRL  Oh, yes, CIJ.  If the offerings aren't better than this year I won't be watching.

I wonder if they pick up enough new customers to buy all of that 'stuff' because they don't know it's years old. I've seen a lot of items come back in new colors that I got several years ago.  Chinese must have run out of ideas.  Smiley Happy

[ Edited ]

It appears that QVC's Top Brass appears to be content with "clearing the warehouse"  or bringing us "new" subpar merchandise that isn't very special for QVC USA and focus more on their international markets........ ...

In QVC's version of The Christmas Carol, if the ghost of the future visited QVC's CEO Mike Geo, I think, just like with Scrooge, this ghost would show him that that the future appears pretty bleak for QVC unless changes are made!!! (just like with Scrooge).......
