I have received and given Harry and David baskets. They have never disappointed me.

Wish they still had their retail stores.

If you belong to Costco, online they have some wonderful gift baskets available with free shipping. In addition, some have extra savings with added coupon deductions taken off. I'm a Costco member and have used their gift baskets online and have been more than satisfied.

For near-by friends (in the past) we would make our own gift baskets and personalize them a little. And deliver in person.

I have used WIne Country gift baskets and Spoonful of Comfort in the past. Got good reports from all recipients.

Nuts.com.

At work last year, someone sent a basket from them. It was delicious.

I use Gourmet Gift Baskets .com a lot for work. They offer a free option to include a customized greeting card with your own personilized message for the receiver.
