Re: Flameless Candles - Please

I wonder if the issue with the tsv set of 3 different color candles made QVC pause. The harvest set had two of the same color. There were many bad reviews with that complaint.

I am willing to give Luminara another chance! Smiley Very Happy

Re: Flameless Candles - Please

I am a huge fan of these! I still remember when I got my first one and put it on the mantle. DH and I weren't home, so DD, who had recently gotten her license, picked her brother up after a Boy Scout meeting. He was probably about 10 or so. She had already seen them.

They came in the house and DS frantically said, "Mom forgot to put the candles out!" She played along for a minute, then showed him!

I still enjoy watching Janine's video from time to time. She snaps her fingers and goes through the holidays, starting with Halloween. I can't post the link, but Google "Janine Graff and Kerstin Lindquist QVC 7 25 20" on YouTube. It's near the end of the video.  Smiley Happy

Re: Flameless Candles - Please

Janine Graff, the main vendor for Luminara, was asked on an Instagram post if QVC still sold Luminara. Her response was, "No. They have stalled. There are a few items still."

So, maybe no new offerings, but by saying stalled they may offer more later. Many complained about the prices as they were. I'm thinking they toyed with how to increase prices with the tariffs and such, but not increase it so the complaints increased as well. Stalling puts the item on hold until they can figure it out. I could be wrong, but that's my guess.

I believe the order for the candles would have needed to be placed long before tariffs.

Re: Flameless Candles - Please

I agree - I'm very disappointed that QVC is no longer selling Luminara.  I have several of their candles and they are by far superior to any other flameless candle.  The ones they are selling on QVC now are just so fake looking when you compare them to Luminara.

Yes, we can buy them elsewhere, but I did find that QVC had some of the best prices on their candle sets and and specialty candles.

Oh well.

Hopefully we will see a return of Luminara next year. In the meantime, I keep an eye out at Home Goods for them. They don't have the variety or quantity, but they do have them on occasion.

The candles that have the plastic tip for the flame are very unattractive.  In error I purchased something last year, my fault but will not buy again.

Re: Flameless Candles - Please

I don't like to shop for Luminara on their own Luminara website.  I prefer their standard 3" melted top candles.  Too many of their candle options use the AA batteries as opposed to CC batteries.  They have a very limited varaiety that use CC or DD batteries.

I get 6 months battery life on a timer with all of my Luminara CC battery candles (and longer for DD battery) that I purchased from QVC.  I will never buy a pillar flameless candle again that only uses AA because they eat AA batteries.

@Caaareful Shopper I have several that take C batteries which I prefer but they are the older candles. Do you think they are phasing them out?
