Re: First Pass at Fall Decorating

It looks nice.  I want to get some fall things out here.  I like mixing some Halloween in with mine.  Come on cooler weather, we're waiting....   Smiley Happy

I actually did some fall decorating today in my living room and I started with my sofa table too!  Then, I moved on to my coffe table.  I really like what you have done; it is so elegant and autumnal.  Don't you love that word? Smiley Happy  My style is much more primitive and colonial looking.

Your first pass is more than I'll do this fall. There are a few outdoor things I want to do.

I don't usually start this early but I wanted to put out my new things and start thinking about where to put stuff. The garland and candlesticks are Grandin Road, the candles are Mirage Gold from Q and the pumpkin is from Home Goods. Don't know yet what is going on the bottom shelf of the sofa table.

@froggy:  I love the garland from Grandin Road.  I have seen their items online but wondered if they were "all that" for the price.  Now I know that they are, so going to look up their website.  Very nice decorating!!!

@froggy

You did a great job froggy. Very nice. I have those candles and love them. Love your garland and candle holders too !

I also started decorating last week end. I know it's early but what the heck it's my house and I'm ready for it. As long as I stay in the house and cut the air way down I can pretend it's fall!

 By the way, I think you're the one who turned me on to grandin road. I have my eye on some bedding!

@Tennesseegal

My normal style is much more casual - woodland and a little whimsy. But I really wanted these items so that wall will have the "dressier" items.

Autumnal is a great word.

So pretty!! I wanted to put out some fall things this weekend, but I got so busy with cleaning and yardwork. I did manage to swap the bunnies on my hearth with my ivory scroll pumpkins. Your post is inspirational. Hope I get to decorate more next weekend!

Re: First Pass at Fall Decorating

It's much too early to do fall decor here in Florida but I bought a pillow with fall color leaves on it and it matches my sofa so beautifully, I decided to just keep it out, and I also found an orange plaid tablecloth that I put out too.It's not necessarily fall but it is orange. It's nice to have a little bit of color in my all neutral living/dining area.
