I always start with my kitchen...it sets the tone for the rest of my home. This is my kitchen island vignette.

Which room do you start with?

@Regal Bee  Love your pic! Thanks for posting. You are so put-together. I start with whatever comes out of my "Autumn Decor" bin first. It's usually a wreath, because the wreaths go on top.

@lil spot - Me too! It's half done. I always keep a older picture of the children there too. DH has already put some things up and there is no room for the picture! I also have a mantle clock that sits in the middle. I have to decorate around that.

The front door wreath gets changed first and that often happens a week or two before I actually get other decor out of storage.  Then, I probably change out the bedding and bathroom because they don't take any thought...just new covers and towels.  I do the living room last because it has the most changes and takes the longest.

As usual, wonderful, artistic combo of colors and all the elements!  Love it, @Regal Bee ! 

I tend to not do that much 'explicitly" fall, although I love it. I almost always start in my living room, my favorite room- rotating in my brass accessories, a plaid throw,  antique wood candlesticks, pensive owl, and deeper colored candles.  I almost never buy anything new for fall, but this year got dried bunny tail grass, and faux yarrow, which is a rich, sort of marigold color...
