Home Goods, AtHome, Cracker Barrel.... Many retailers have fall and especially Halloween on display now. I also read that some Spirit Halloween stores, which would usually open in September, have plans to open in August. Retailers seem to have placed orders for items earlier this year, I am guessing due to the anticipated pricing increases for items from overseas.
Enthusiasm for fall and Halloween decor seems to be at an all time high this year. 🎃👻

Wow...this is a record. I hate it that "pumpkins" have moved earlier and earlier....used to be Sept, then August. July? No thank you! July's my favorite month, summer my favorite season...it's enough we see "Christmas" all during it (not being Debbie Downer, I know loads of people love it, fine.)
Summer seems to be a weaker season for retailers after they try to sell 4th stuff. I used to work in clothing retail/buying....(at least here in the Northeast) the shows were smaller for summer things, the selling was mostly in early spring and then sales all summer once you hit July 4th, inventory weaker than fall/Christmas/spring. They push the seasons that sell best...I guess Fall/Christmas is the best for them.
Anyway, NO THANKS to FALL IN JULY for me! I'm steeped in SUMMER through Sept 22! 😎☀️👙🍉⛱️🌊🦀🐚
ps. This gets discussed, "debated" every year on these boards, Lol. Pretty soon maybe Q will have "Halloween in June!"

I love fall, but not a fan of Halloween. But NOT in June and July. I know retailers push the seasons.

I did see at walmart a sign that said "Summerween" when I walked in the door. They had a bin of blankets with skeletons doing summer things.
So funny!

Just have to say that when I worked in retail--Party City ---all the holiday stuff started coming in just after the 4th-----even candy. there was even a small section set up with Halloween stuff in July--not surprised in the least--that's retail.

I noticed a few items at Home Goods. In my area Halloween items usually come in more around August.
