I noticed that the Enstrom toffee is $10 more than when I ordered it earlier this year. It's $54.98 and the last time  that I ordered it was $44.98. I am trying to decide if I want to place an order. I include the toffee in candy bags that I give to friends and neighbors around the holidays. So I probably will place an order.

I noticed the same price increase.

I do give it out to the neighbors for the holidays.  Probably the last year I do so due to the expense.

I'm also deciding.  My family does like these.  I even used a coupon code this spring, so they were even cheaper, $31 something.  I did order some on Amazon last year ( in addition to my Q order) for about $45.  I may place the order, and possibly cancel if I find them cheaper.

I share these and my Lindt with family and friends.  I consider them a Christmas treat, so I'll probably order.

In the past I never hesitated and ordered as soon as offered. But the price increase makes me waffle. I know chocolate prices have increased. I'm debating with myself whether I should order this family treat or be strong acknowledging I don't really need the calories even if in portion control sizes.

...Who am I kidding. I know I'm going to give in.

@50Mickey. @lynnie61. You also might try Walmart online.  I've bought Enstroms toffee there.

@Kachina624    Thanks Kachina624. But I live on the east coast. I have never seen Enstroms in Walmart or Costco or Target or anywhere else around here. I ordered this today to be delivered around 12/8. It's a special treat so I bit the bullet.

I was also disappointed about the price increase but still ended up buying them across two ship weeks, along with the set of 12 triple chip apples from Mrs. Prindables, which increased about the same amount. Even with all the goodies I make around the holidays, family members have come to love and expect these two treats at our gatherings, so I just "have to" get them.  Smiley Happy

As for the new packaging and availability elsewhere, I actually like the idea of a simple box instead of the hard-to-open plastic tub (especially since I just put some toffee in candy dishes and the rest in LocknLock), but I wish Enstrom would sell the butter toffee petites at places other than QVC—it would be nice to not be stuck with whatever price is applied at that single source.

I went ahead and ordered also. It's not available anywhere else near me, and after checking their website it is a better price. Also the website charges additional shipping while QVC does not.

Yep, for an order around April 9 of this year, the price was $10 less.  The increased price on that along with all the other price increases, mean that I will not be ordering.  I love the toffee, but my fixed income means that my waistline might be slightly smaller.
