Do You Save the Zippered Plastic Bedding Bags for Other Uses?

So many bedding items and other linens arrive in zippered plastic bags. Years ago, we would just throw them away. Then one day my DH started using them to store our Christmas items in them. Now I separate my Christmas tree ornaments by color and put them in their own see-through bag. I also put the holiday linens in them before putting them into our big plastic bins. After several years of doing this, I don't see a down side. They keep the glitter contained and act as a cushion when placed in a bin with other things.

Yes! for decorations

I also save bubble wrap for packing decorations.

@PA Mom-mom That's an excellent use for them! I repurpose mine by using them to store some of my grandson's many many cars and trucks. They slide under the bed nicely.

@PA Mom-mom great idea. I used mine for my cashmere sweaters. I have more bags than sweaters lol so will used for storing decorations.

They also work well as packing cubes when going on a trip.

@DecorDiva Well, that suggestion opens up a whole different set of ideas for me. We usually do road trips, but there are shoes, boots, and other things that just don't have a home elsewhere.
