While we're on the subject of holiday decor I need to vent about battery operated decorations. I love them because I don't have enough electrical outlets, but I will no longer buy products unless they say how long the batteries will last.

Bethlehem lights is great communicating how long a set of batteries will operate the items but all other vendors do not.......and it's because you won't even get 30 days on the timer mode on a set of batteries.   I use brand name batteries and most items from VPH, Mr. Christmas, and many other brands are terrible when it comes to battery replacement. Needless to say, I will be donating many beautiful decorations because they simply waste batteries.

I use rechargeable batteries and then don't have to keep buying batteries.

I agree that a lot of these things don't have the batteries lasting a very long time. I stopped getting decorations with batteries a few years ago but I still love the ones I have.

Gorgeous! I truly love it all. You did a great job. One of my close friends goes all out at Christmas; every room is decorated, it's just incredible. She takes pictures of each room to remember how she did things and makes notes of  what she wants to add or change for the next year. It helps her keep track and remember what she wants to do.

@CarolinaGirl88

Thank you, Your friends house sounds beautiful.  I love to see how others decorate and draw inspiration from it..

I just decorate the living room, kitchen , dining room and guest bathroom. I intended to do my bedroom this year but couldn't find bedding that I liked.. I do have candles in all of my windows so that brings a little cheer to the non decorated rooms.
But I have so much Christmas decor I could decorate the neighborhood.  It's addictive for me.

I always take picture to remind me of what I have from year to year. Some of it I look at later and think, what was I thinking, haha..

I change my tree up each year but most of my set abouts may or may not change location.. I love the slatkin candle houses and try to order  Harry's Slaktins TSV every year.

 I hope you have a very Merry Christmas!

Beautiful.  I really like the wreath.  May I ask where you got it?

@ScrapHappy

Thank you..

I made it myself.  Very easy to do. I think bought the vine part wreath years ago at Joann's. But all craft stores sell them.  I bought the greenery  from hobby lobby and or Michael's and I made the bow. The vine is very easy to slide the greenery through and you can also buy bows there if needed.

I enjoy making wreaths so much.

The candles are setting on the window seal behind the wreath.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU !
