I hope Valerie planned ahead so she woud not have to raise prices because of tariffs. I think that most of her merchandise comes from China. For those who watch, enjoy.

At the risk of causing an uproar among whose who can't abide Christmas in July, it starts 2 months from today with Valerie Parr Hill kicking off the "festivities." I am looking forward to this. I only watch the holiday and fall harvest shows. For me this is a welcome relief from fashions, beauty, vacuums and mattresses.

@50Mickey  I wouldn't worry about causing an uproar. Your thread is clearly labeled and those who don't like CIJ can certainly bypass it.

I will watch some of the shows. I have so many Christmas items I am totally running out of space. Totally. Smiley Very Happy

I accomplish most of my Christmas shopping during CIJ because I started sending fresh wreaths instead of other kinds of gifts to the majority of families on my list.  This year, I have two new grandchildren to indulge.  I'm looking forward to that.

Oh how fun! I have set a reminder on my phone. All year long I have Christmas in the back of my mind. Projects I want to do, ideas for displays, scrolling through Pinterest, etc. I actually already have some gifts bought and am pondering others. I still watch the Hallmark Christmas movies on Friday night if it is one I like. Great American Family plays them on Friday might as well. Looking forward to seeing what Valerie brings. Smiley Happy

@Sakuya  I watch quite a few Hallmark Christmas and Great American Family movies too, love them!

@Estellee - I thoroughly enjoy them as well. Light, no stress, festive. What's not to like?

Thank you @50Mickey for starting this topic.  I Love, love, love CIJ!  I love enjoying summertime and the outdoors, then "cooling" off inside watching programming!

Seeing the beautiful trees and the sets decorated makes me happy for some reason, even in July.  If I get tired of it, just change the channel.  I would rather watch this than menopause this or that.  Now that's something I don't want to think about 😏.

I have a hole to the right of my tree that I think I'll fill with a tall-ish (four-foot or so) nutcracker. I've got a few bookmarked on Amazon, but I'll see what, if anything, the Q has to offer. They have a couple on the site, but the prices are a tad extreme for now ($800 and $840) compared to Amazon, where I can get one for under $100. I take a peek and see what the Q has to offer, but unless the price comes way down, I'll probably go with an Amazon version.

Looks like Christmas is going to be cancelled due to...........Tariffs. Don't know if QVC can get all their stuff from China to have their summer Christmas; June/July???
