So dissapointed in Christmas offers.  The price is one thing but can have to do with what you like and can afford.  My surprise is so much of the stuff you can be easily put together with offering from HL or WM.  Also metal and cardboard are a no TO ME.

Totally agree. There was nothing special other than drawing out the return date. I fully expected more.wonder if they were trying to get rid of existing inventory?

Part of the fun of CIJ is the stores don't have items yet so it's fun to be able to see and get Christmas things now. Once the stores start getting things then what is offered on Q is not as exciting.

CIJ is not over so there is more to come. I hope everyone who wants to get something new finds that special item(s).

the will be the first Christmas season I don't feel I wil be buying very much .  I have so much chiristmas stuff already kus looks like though there won't be much temptation at least so far .   And the prices once the CIJ prces are over wil prevent muc buying.

I always love CIJ!  This year I am really missing Dan Hughes.

I agree with this.

I have been watching CIJ for many years.  Even if I didn't buy much of anything, it was always fun to look at the Christmas items.

I'm not sure what happened this year, but it's nothing like it used to be.  I haven't bought one thing and I'm okay with that.  It's just a little disappointing this year though.

I haven't given up on their CIJ yet.  The real push is this weekend, and it's only 8am.  Hard to judge their offerings when they haven't had most of their shows.

After this weekend, the next big CIJ push is the last weekend in July.

I think the early shows are understandably the stuff they just wanted to move out of the warehouse from years past.

So far I haven't been impressed, either, although I've ordered a few food items, mostly repeats of items I've tried in the past and liked, like the bacon-wrapped turkey breasts with dressing and cranberries inside.  I ordered them last  year in CIJ but when time came to ship them, they never arrived,.  I got a refund, but that was small consolation, so I really, really hope I get them this year!

I am now regretting not ordering the Bethlehem lights tree that's sold out, even at a price I thought too high.  My flocked tree I've used several years started to have a section sporadically fail last year, and I'll have to go back to my older green tree, and hope it hasn't died in the box.  If it has, I'll have to buy something from Costco, and probably pay more than the TSV price and get less of a tree.  Of course, when the reviews start coming in, I may discover I was wiser than I thought.  Not a common thing to find about myself, LOL!

I hope, before July is over, that everyone finds something they love and can treasure for seasons to come!

ETA:  Well, I just placed an order for the 5' tree in the blue spruce color.  All three options in that size became available.  I don't know if the Q's inventory system is totally bollixed up or if a bunch of people cancelled their orders, but there seem to be trees in all three sizes and at least two colors of each size available to order.  I was suprised at first, but then again, I've seen this happen before, which is why I went and checked inventory a while after it was supposedly "sold out".  I hope I don't regret ordering it!

Sadly, I agree! Prices haven't been very good so far either. I understand everything is more expensive now but things that sold last year for $59.99 are now $89.99 for exact same items. I'm not being wowed.

Never underestimate the power of kindness.
