CHRISTMAS HOT CHOCOLATE PARTY

Christmas table with a Nativity under glass 027.JPG

I thought this was sweet. This blogger does a December "hot chocolate" party, for the ladies with whom she has a monthly, 'in-person' praying of the rosary group. As a Protestant, I wasn't familiar with this lovely tradition.

Love how she has made her meaningful, vintage-looking nativity scene under glass as part of her centerpiece. Her mother cross- stitched the napkin rings for her.

She mixes and matches her china and accessories... In addition to hot cocoa, she serves Christmas breads and cookies.

The different mugs have a festive flair! The glasses are Venetian.

I like how she chose bronze candles-- unexpected!

Who wouldn't want to sip chocolate from this polka dot cup?

Clearly, a table set with love.

I love how she put the deer and the greens in with the place settings and mugs!

And @Oznell,

I was thinking today how I always look forward to your threads-so interesting and I always know it will be a safe and wonderful place to post.

Very festive and welcoming. Really like the toile chairs, the centerpiece, the varied and colorful tableware, the plaid tablecloth.

Re: CHRISTMAS HOT CHOCOLATE PARTY

Agreed, her holly-themed china is so pretty, and I could be wrong, but has a bit of a vintage look, which I love...
