I bought two Bethlehem Lights 36" trees that I was planning to stake in the ground but can't figure out how to remove the base to insert the stake. No instructions. I would think the base would just twist off but it isn't working. I noticed there were questions on how to do this with no replies so I thought I would ask here. So frustrating after spending so much time and getting nowhere.

@Biftu You might be able to get the BL customer service phone number from QVC. I called them a few month's ago about a lamp, and they were very helpful. The contact info given to me by QVC was: -877-661-8324 and customer.service@bethlehemlights.com.
The phone number worked for me.
It might be different for information on your item. But, it's a start.
I have two slightly larger BL stake trees from many years ago, and the bases were easily interchangeable.

@PA Mom-mom Thank you so much I'll give that a try. Just frustrating over nothing. Should be easy.

@PA Mom-mom Thanks to you I called Bethlehem Lights and spoke with a very nice man who told me the base should just pull off it was not threaded. I told him after spending so much time trying to remove the base to use the stake it was just impossible. He said they are put on very tightly. He suggested I try using a hair dryer to loosen it. Haven't tried it, but doubtful that will help. Disappointed because I planned on staking them outside. Oh well, I guess I'll just use them indoors..
Thanks again though, never thought to call them even though my problem was nor resolved.
