Years ago I used to give framed counted crosswork (one of them as a wedding gift with their names/wedding date), aftgans and sweaters to family and friends.

Those cookies are so beautiful, they’d never be eaten.  I’d preserve them to display.

I love the look of those cookies, I would use them for display and never eat them. My cousin and her friend used to make these beautiful cut out xmas cookies that were almost too pretty to eat, but that did not deter the kids.

Those cookies are simply stunning. 

 

Usually cookies that pretty taste like cardboard.

 

I'd be inclined to find a way to preserve them, and display them on a pretty plate as a piece of decor, for years to come.
