Me too @manny2 . I bought a diffuser with a pine scent that I'll soon set out. Live trees are nice but we went artificial for the ease of things.

Just a heads up, i recently read where a dog got very sick from the oil diffuser. He had all kinds of symptoms and vet couldn't  figure out what was wrong. Seems the chemicals used to make scents is toxic to animals. I was totally flabbergasted myself. This is just a heads up in case you have pets

My favorites are the live trees all lit up around the city center.  Living color.  No trees have to die for this.  So many people can enjoy these trees from their cars, especially if they no longer can decorate outside of their homes.  I love those.

@ECBG   This was unheard of for most of my life, but I have noticed recently that this is happening, for those who want their trees up for Thanksgiving,  I am not one of those as I didn't grow up that way, but the day after is when I would fly out the door to the tree lot.  Now, I have faux trees.

I haven't even seen any Christmas trees for sale yet.  I just put the finishing touches on my Fall decorations.  All set for my Thanksgiving guests!

My youngest surprised me Saturday with an early Christmas gift of candles for the 6 windows in the front of my house. She said they reminded her of the ones I had when she was a child.

They went in the windows immediately and will remain lighted in the evenings until New Year's.

The rest of my decorations will start going up Saturday after Thanksgiving but I'm sure enjoying my window candles.

Occasionally breaking tradition can be delightful.

I felt ambitious today, so put away the fall decor and dusted/vacuumed.  Started the Christmas decorating.....did the dining room today.  I'll probably finish tomorrow...supposed to rain all day, so will be a fun and cozy thing to do.

just waiting for 5:00 to start all the lights on timers in the dining room!

I was doing some errands yesterday - several tree lots were setting up.  I used to get a fresh tree at a lot that would deliver it to my house and set it up in the stand.  I was so sad when they went out of business!

@labloverrr , a lot of people at work today mentioned they decorated this past weekend. I just can’t do it. Thanksgiving is special and I’ll just wait.
