Not a fan of the sling bag style like the TSV today. It's also not functional enough for me. I do like what is called a sling bag that is a cross between a sling bag and "backpack" (sort of). Has compartments.

Not a fan of these at all. If I want to be hands-free, I use a shoulder bag.

I've got enough bulk in the chest area without adding a third big lump. Not for me.
They look to me primarily like something a young person would wear. Sort of like a backpack in front.

I like to wear my belt bags as a sling bag since I developed severe back problems after a fall. It's a way for me to continue to use a useful item and to minimize the weight I am carrying around. I am busty and positioning isn't a problem for me. I wear the bag a bit lower and to my side like a crossbody. No problem and I am using items I already have in a way that works for me.

I know someone who wears one regularly and frankly, it looks awful and ruins the outfit. I think they make sense if you're at the zoo with little kids who need handholding while needing access to things frequently (ie tissues, wet wipes, etc) but other than that type of scenario, I don't get it.

I don't care for these at all. The look awkward and uncomfortable.

I don't wear this style, But, this design does keep the bag securely against your body and within your line of sight, making it much more difficult for thieves to access your belongings unnoticed or snatch the bag!

@We rescue cats that's kinda how I described it to my husband. When he first saw it he thought it might be something I'd want. I said it's just a fanny pack turned into a cross-body. No thanks.
I can see how one might like them for certain things like travel, but I can keep my hands free by wearing my regular purse with the strap across my body.

The host who wore it was really taking one for the team. Not a good look.
