I have three Gili handbags I like, but think I will pass on this one. Not liking the fringe this time around.

Fringe is over!  I have not liked a GILI handbag since the ROMA 2 tote.  I bought 3 of those.

Agree with you @TuesdayTaylor. Looks a lot like AK style fringe too, doesn't it? Honestly, I can't recall the last bag Gili introduced without fringe.

I have the originals GiLI convertible backpack with the fringe and I must admit that I do go back to that backpack quite often.  But the fringe can get in the way when you are using it as a backpack, rather than a more "hoboish" style.  And the fringe looks really long in this case.  Overexposure is not a good thing.

BORING!!!! If you want a fashion-forward handbag, go and check-out Aimee Kestenberg.  G.I.L.I. is over-priced and not on trend, despite what the sales person (a.k.a. "Creative Director") says.

Well personally I haven't seen one Amy K bag that I was interested in. But I don't own any GILI either.
