She died hours apart from her husband last Saturday. She was 97, they were married for 72 years. They both had heart attacks, a spokesman said that her husband told her Friday night "Sweetie it's time for us to go".

She sold her handbag company in 1993 for 16 million dollars.

My great-grandparents died within 3 hours of each other.  We were with my great-grandmother when she passed at the hospital and my great-grandfather said, "life isn't going to be worth living without her."  When we arrived home, he went into his room to take a nap after having sat at her bedside for almost 2 days with little sleep, when my Mom checked on him an hour or so later, he was gone.  I envy couple like them and Mrs. Lieber and her spouse. What a beautiful tribute to their love for one another.
