Last night while watching the midnight TSV, I heard Baylen talk about a "brief bag." I love that name and plan to use it! 

When DH and I were newly married he gave me a leather briefcase. I love it, I used it for years, and I would never part with it. I still use it at home. 

But I still needed something to carry my iPad, books, notebooks, etc. in. I needed something that would take a lot of abuse.

Enter my faithful IHKWIP x Shawn North/South Haute Tote. It's sold out now, but I'm sure something like it will be coming.

I ran across a campus in the pouring rain. I was soaking wet, even with a rain jacket. My zipped tote looked dry when I went inside, and everything inside it was completely dry too. When I go away it always comes with me, and it holds everything. Other people have asked me about it.

It's beside me right now, getting ready for an out-of-state trip for a conference in a few weeks. 

I got it in Champagne Metallic. I love the color.

@beach-mom. Looks like it could serve as a portable filing cabinet with all those slots.

@beach-mom NOw that's a useful bag!!  I think I'd prefer an east/west orientation so it doesn't hit the ground when holding it by the handles.

If I were going to by an ihkwip bag, this is the style and size I would go for.  I'm not a mini-crossbody person.

LOL @Kachina624 ! Actually it's wide open inside. It has side by side pockets on one and a zip pocket on the other. Other than that it's nothing but space, which comes in handy when I get handed huge notebooks at workshops and conferences!

I prefer the bags from them that are designed with Shawn. Plus, the IHKWIP guys seem to be getting away from the Nylon materials they were once known for that proved to be more luxury, and better made. Such is the case with many new lines we have seen.

@faeriemoon - It holds everything! I never use it as an everyday bag. But I do use it for other things besides work if I need to.

 I'm not a mini-crossbody person either. I just have too many things to carry. I do have the previous version of the current TSV. I use them mostly for craft shows, fairs, etc. I carried one (Lug) all over Disney World when we went.

These bags just seem like a direct ripoff from Lug

 Prefer leather bags, however these plastic/nylon are good for  walking around at a park when it  rains

 I don't like Lug  but both brands are obnoxiously expensive

I like features about both IHKWIP and lug. Ordered the tsv in Sand Patent. Also their new wallet. I had the wallet called Carry Your Confidence, man I loved that thing. But I cant find it! it appears to have been redesigned into this new one, Sidebar I think its called. Anyhow. 

Throw in some Baggallini and I'm set for full- on organization. But then I also love my Mountain West faux leather totes. 

Back to your original question @beach-mom  I *may* need another ihkwip purse so that I can make a fair determination of which are my faves. Lol
