outside slot is reserved for house keys, car keys, emergency gum grab and lipstick. Inside zip compartment is for coupons, grocery list, quick to grab stuff.

inner zip is for eye drops, nasal inhaler, sanitizing liquid, etc.  I'm prepared for anything !

Me too.  Friends joke that I rival Mary Poppins with all and anything I can pull out of my purse.  You never know what you need until you need it. 🙃

Re: IDEAL SIZE OF HANDBAG

[ Edited ]

@Carmie Ditto! I'm retired and like to travel light. My go-to bag nowadays is the pebble grain Dooney Suki domed crossbody, about 7"H x 9"W x 4"D.  IMG_0154.jpeg

@BrandNewBag   I have that bag too, in the same color.  I'll have to get it out and use it again.

I always enjoyed carrying it.  I have a bunch of Dooney's, all with matching wallets.

At one time I was an addict.  I bought so many bags...Dooney's, Coach, Cole Haan, and more with matching wallets.

I have a small fortune tied up in bags. I have recovered.  I have enough to last my whole life and then some.

I tend to lean towards a crossbody satchel, like the Dooney Zip Zip (H 10" x W 5.25" x L 11.75").  I'm currently away and using a little Baggalini crossbody.  It's smaller than I'd prefer for everyday, but I'm managing.  It has great safety features and the size does prevent me from overloading it and it becoming too heavy for my shoulder.

@JeanLouiseFinch   I have two Dooney Zipzip bags...black and dark green.

I carried them a lot when I was working.  They are a nice size, but not too big.
